Description
Motorola Remote Training Systems offer all the tools necessary to effectively reinforce commands you have already taught your dog.
This system comes as a fully-functioning 1-dog system, but can be expanded by adding additional collar/receivers (sold separately) to support up to a total of 4 dogs.
Now you can provide your dog with more freedom to run with up to 150 yards of range and help you control unwanted behaviors in and around the home.
The SCOUTTRAINER50 features a water-resistant collar unit, an easy-to-use handheld remote with a LCD backlit display that can be programmed to control up to four different dogs.
Motorola’s unique 3-step training allows you to choose between warning tone only, gentle vibration, and dynamic 15-level static correction.
You can also stay connected to your pet with verbal commands using the unique push-to-talk function.
The Motorola Advanced Remote Trainer offers all the tools you need to quickly have a better-behaved companion at home or at the dog park.
The Static Correction Button
The SCOUTTRAINER50 has 15 levels of static correction – a dynamic range of static stimulation to assist in discouraging inappropriate behaviors.
The lowest levels are a hardly perceptible tickle, while the highest levels are very firm and used with high drive, difficult dogs under the most critical of situations.
The Tone Button
The warning tone option does not produce any static stimulation, but a beep tone only. You can press this button for a second or two to give your dog an opportunity to respond to known commands prior to applying a static correction.
Most dogs learn very quickly to respond to the tone button alone with no need for static correction.
The Vibration Button
The vibration button produces a vibration sensation from your dog’s collar, just like your cell phone. The vibration can be used as a simple attention getting device, or as a warning, but a great application is to connect the vibration with rewards.
Vibration coming from your dog’s collar is obviously meaningless to your dog by itself, but by pressing the vibration feature when presenting your dog with rewards – treats, meals, walks, praise and play, you will soon find that your dog responds very happily to the collar’s vibration.
You can use the vibration ‘reward’ when it is not possible or convenient to offer your dog an immediate food or praise reward.
The Push-To-Talk Function
Only Motorola offers a Push-To-Talk link with your dog’s training collar. You can pass commands, praise, or verbal reprimands directly to your dog’s collar via clear digital voice for up to 100 yards.
