Bluefang® technology lets you control your dog’s collar with your iPhone or Android from up to 400 feet away and this system includes High Tech Pet’s 2nd Generation BF-25 collar.
CONTAINMENT
The X-25 features High Tech Pet’s unique Pulsed Proportional Stimulus (PPS) system. With PPS, sound and static stimuli are delivered in short, high intensity bursts that increase as your dog moves closer to the boundary wire. The system automatically adjusts the stimulus intensity to the exact level based on your dog’s individual behavior. The result is that your dog is reliably contained without unnecessary over-stimulation. Don’t try to guess the appropriate stimulus intensity for your pet. Let this system take care of it for you. And you can add an unlimited number of BF-25 collars to contain and train multiple pets (sold separately).
The X-25 system comes with a waterproof, indoor or outdoor mountable transmitter with coded digital signal, fully illuminated status panel, audible and visual wire break alarms, power boost switch, and variable field width control. The transmitter also accepts an optional, rechargeable back-up battery (model B12V-0.8) that keeps your system operational during a power outage and automatically recharges when power is restored.
The transmitter uses the latest radio technology combined with some very sophisticated engineering to give you a device that is very powerful yet stable. The fully illuminated status panel tells you at a glance, the operating status of your system. It continuously monitors overall system status, back-up battery condition, power mode (ac or dc), and wire loop continuity. If your wire breaks or becomes disconnected, the transmitter alerts you with a flashing warning lamp and a loud audible alarm. All of these great features are packed into this powerful transmitter that will cover up to 50 acres (with the purchase of additional wire sold separately).
The X-25 system includes 500 feet of Ultra wire, which is custom engineered for ultimate pet containment system performance. This wire is designed for both underground and above ground installation and is made from high-quality solid-core copper wire with an extra thick insulating material that is resistant to ultraviolet sunlight, moisture, corrosion, and stress.
The X-25 is packed with all of the features you would expect from an advanced High Tech Pet electronic dog fence. But best of all, it comes with the BF-25 smartphone controlled Bluefang collar. This amazing collar not only contains your pet, but can also be used for remote training, bark control and activity tracking (to see what your dog is up to when you’re not around).
REMOTE TRAINING
Just download the FREE app, put the collar on your dog and you’re ready to train using your smartphone as your remote. Use positive tones to quickly and easily teach “good dog” behaviors such as sit, stay, come and heel. 3 corrective stimulus levels deter “bad dog” behaviors like jumping, chewing, and digging. Add an unlimited number of collars and customize the stimulus intensity and duration of each level for each individual dog.
And Bluefang technology gives you a much longer range than typical Bluetooth devices. While other Bluetooth devices (headphones, speakers, etc.) typically have a working range of under 100 feet, our breakthrough technology extends the practical training range of the BLUEFANG collar to 400 feet!
BARK CONTROL
As a Bark Control Collar, the included BF-25 collar gives you the most advanced, effective and humane bark control available. Uses progressive stimulus that starts with a warning tone and progresses through five increasing stimulus levels if your dog’s barking persists.
The collar can distinguish between nuisance barking and the more excited intruder/alarm barking. If you choose, you may allow the emergency type of bark while still preventing nuisance barking. You can also set the collar to deter howling. 3 Bark Control Modes let you select: “Stop Only Nuisance Barking”, “Stop All Barking” and “Stop Barking and Howling”.
You can also set the collar for tone only, shock only, or tone plus shock and all of these options are controlled right from your smartphone with our simple, intuitive app. The collar is designed with safety “time outs” built in so that it will not overstimulate your dog. Barking is detected with a non-invasive microphone and a unique sensing algorithm that detects your dog’s bark without false triggering.
ACTIVITY MONITOR
Your included BF-25 collar give you the most advanced and useful Fitness Tracking of any pet collar. Start by determining your dog’s overall fitness level with the BMI calculator. Input your dog’s breed, gender, height and weight and get instant feedback of your dog’s fitness level. You’ll know if you need to increase, decrease, or maintain your dog’s current level of activity. Then use the Activity Monitor to track your dog’s activity levels to make sure he’s on the path to optimum fitness. View charts of actual energy burned by hour, day, week, month and year.
The feature is also a great way to see what your dog is up to when you’re away. The BF-25 makes a note every time your dog barks or attempts to challenge the invisible boundary. You can review this data to see how often he has barked or tried to run off each day, week month or year. It also records the number of shocks and intensities it has delivered. You can very easily see your dog’s behavior and how well your Bluefang collar has been working.
